1969 & Time Goes On

Night time ambiance and outdoor setting will lighten your mood when combined with a wide range of delicious cuisines from desi to continental.

1969 is a different experience when it comes to dining in the capital city. It is a themed restaurant and the theme, you guessed it, is the 60’s. This theme is expressed through various small details. One such cute detail is that the mats on the tables are prints of a newspaper page from 1969. The music they play, western, Pakistani, or Bollywood, is all from that era too.

A major point of the restaurant is its location. The restaurant is situated outside of the main city, at Shakarparian. It has a gorgeous lawn with some outdoor seating. The interior is also very well decorated, with a sunken center and wooden floors and pillars. The lighting is dim and pleasant. It offers Pakistani BBQ and some western standard foods, such as pasta, burgers, and steaks. It does not have a specialty food as such, other than Desi BBQ. The price range is moderate to high. Some customers believe it is too highly priced for the quality, but it is still popular.
The restaurant has ample seating and is suitable for both large and small groups. Because of its slightly out of the way location, there is not a huge crowd here and you can usually get a table easily. Occasionally though, there is a rush, so call and ask what the situation is if you don’t want to wait. The restaurant has its own parking. It is also possible to book events here.
