Located incredibly close to the Margalla hills-Islamabad’s main scenic attraction, Serai boutique is a treasure among the hotels in Islamabad. At a walking distance from the national art gallery and close by Daman-e-Koh and the famous trail five, it offers easy access to a variety of attractions. It is also at walking distance from a lot of the city’s best restaurants.

There is a lot to enjoy even without leaving the hotel though. Chief among these is the barbecue with a view of the hills. The hotel itself is decorated in an artsy and pleasing way. Each room has a flat screen T.v and its own kettle and bathroom. The hotel prides itself on guaranteeing both comfort and privacy.

Overall, its a pleasant change from large and boring overpriced hotels that are the norm in Pakistan. It also comes in at a medium price range, about RS. 9500 for a two-person room. Significantly cheaper than a stay in Marriot or Serena, and for a more unique and authentic experience.
