Inhabited by Abbasi (tribe), Murree has a culture in close resemblance to Hazara, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad. Being a major tourist attraction, always crowded by outsiders, Murree somehow lost its culture and got influenced by the visitors. People wear warm clothes in dark colors in respect of its tradition and climate. Paharai is the common language spoken here while people also know good Urdu and English.
