Attabad Lake

Attabad Lake is a beautiful tragedy that took place in January 2010. If there was an eighth wonder of the world, it would be Attabad. Born into the world after a massive landslide which blocked the river and filled the valley with glacial lake truly shows how powerful and immense mother nature is. The sun reflecting on the blue water gives a spectacular panoramic view. The maximum depth of Attabad Lake is 358 meters and length is 13 miles. The reflection of the mountains on the lake shows how clean and pure this nature’s gift is. This masterpiece of nature though never disappoints anyone whoever visits it but is believed to be at a threat of disappearance as it’s not a natural lake.
